My name is Kirsten Banks

I am a passionate visual storyteller, photographer, and aspiring filmmaker with a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling. A recent graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Film, Visual, and Performing Arts with distinction. My goal is to curate narratives that reflect the beauty and complexity of life, drawing inspiration from everyday moments and transforming them into compelling visual experiences.

I believe in the power of film and photography to transport us to different worlds, evoke emotions, and spark meaningful conversations. Whether behind the camera, in post-production, or on set, I thrive in creative environments where ideas come to life.
