My name is Kirsten Banks
I am a passionate visual storyteller, photographer, and aspiring filmmaker with a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling. A recent graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Film, Visual, and Performing Arts with distinction. My goal is to curate narratives that reflect the beauty and complexity of life, drawing inspiration from everyday moments and transforming them into compelling visual experiences.
I believe in the power of film and photography to transport us to different worlds, evoke emotions, and spark meaningful conversations. Whether behind the camera, in post-production, or on set, I thrive in creative environments where ideas come to life. My ability to work both independently and collaboratively allows me to contribute effectively to dynamic projects, bringing vision and innovation to every story I tell.
Beyond technical expertise, I have developed strong team-building and management skills, ensuring smooth collaboration in high-pressure creative settings. My communication and research abilities enhance my storytelling, enabling me to craft narratives that are not only visually striking but also rich in depth and meaning.
